All orthopedic devices manufactured by Marchildon are covered by our product warranty. This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of our materials and craftsmanship.
What's covered
Our product warranty covers manufacturing and material defects on all orthopedic devices fabricated in our laboratory. This includes custom foot orthotics, custom footwear, custom knee braces, and other orthopedic devices designed and assembled by our team.
Items covered by the warranty
- Delamination or separation of material layers
- Breakage of the orthotic shell under normal use conditions
- Defects in covering materials
- Bonding or assembly issues
- Abnormal premature wear of materials
Warranty duration
Foot orthotics
4-month warranty covering all adjustments to your foot orthotics at no charge following delivery.
Foot orthotics
12-month warranty against manufacturing and material defects from the date of delivery.
Custom footwear
12-month warranty on the fabrication and materials of footwear designed in our laboratory.
Covers and accessories
Covers, padding, and accessories are warranted for 6 months due to their faster natural wear.
What's not covered
The product warranty does not cover the following situations:
- Normal wear of materials resulting from regular daily use
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, or negligence
- Modifications made by an unauthorized third party
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, water, or chemicals
- Discomfort related to a change in medical condition that occurred after fabrication

How to file a claim
- Contact us by phone at 514.858.1171 or by email to report the issue and book an appointment.
- Bring your devices to our clinic so our team can examine the defect and determine whether it's covered by the warranty.
- Repair or replacement: depending on the nature of the defect, we will repair or replace the device at no charge.
- Turnaround: warranty repairs are generally completed within 5 to 10 business days.
